Position: Assistant Director
This is a hands-on leadership role with a mix of responsibilities. You will help create a safe, healthy school and a culture where children, families, and team members thrive, and you will be trained to grow toward leading education at our school.

Position: Assistant Director

What you will do:
- Communicate with families every day: parent concerns, updates, and a warm welcome for new families
- Give school tours and respond to inquiry calls and emails
- Help train and coach teachers and support staff, including during the first weeks of opening
- Learn every essential function in the school so you can support and inspire the team
- Support classroom quality, curriculum, and Balanced Learning with the leadership team
- Keep the school safe, healthy, and in compliance with DECAL rules
- Manage the school in the Director’s absence, and help the Director with enrollment and cost control
Salary Range: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Shift Schedule: Full time, year-round, on site. Opening (6:45 a.m.) and closing (6:00 p.m.) shifts are shared by the leadership team, and hours may change as we open and grow. Exact schedule set once hired.
